S80 Right Turn Signal Issue

Alright Volvo gurus, I'm pulling my hair out! My 2008 Volvo S80 with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit with the right turn signal. I'm getting an error in the memory, a warning message plastered across my speedometer, and the light's not blinking! I've checked the bulb (seems fine), but I suspect a dodgy connection. Could it be a frayed wire or a corroded plug? Anyone else wrestled with this demon?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar gremlin in my S80. Was it only the right turn signal?

Yep, same here. Turned out to be a faulty connection alright. I bit the bullet and took it to the workshop. They sorted it quickly. Saved me the headache!

Right, a trip to the mechanic it is! Thanks for confirming my suspicions; I was hoping to avoid it, but sometimes you just gotta wave the white flag. They reckon it's a cable or plug issue, quote is 95€. Appreciate the help!
