Yep, sounds like the exhaust back pressure sensor to me. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. It's not something you want to mess with if you don't have the right tools and know-how.

Thanks for the heads-up! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on, it was a defective exhaust back pressure sensor. Cost me 245€ to get it replaced, but now it's running smoothly again!
