S90 Solar Sensor Fault Low Heating Output

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2017 Volvo S90 gasoline. The error memory stores a solar sensor fault, and the heating output is noticeably low. Mileage is at 210126 km. Suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas?

Sounds familiar! I had something similar with my S90. Is the temperature inside the car also fluctuating a bit? Could be a sensor issue for sure.

Fluctuating temperature, you say? I haven't noticed that specifically, but it's possible. Was it definitely the solar sensor in your case? Did you try any troubleshooting steps before getting it fixed?

Yeah, for me it ended up being the solar sensor. I didn't mess with it myself. Just took it to a workshop. They confirmed the sensor and replaced it. Honestly, saved me a headache.

Appreciate the insight. Workshop visit it is! Turns out, as suspected, it was a defective cable connection to the solar sensor. Cost me 95€, all in. Thanks again!
