S90 Turn Signal Error

I have a 2018 Volvo S90 hybrid and I'm seeing a turn signal malfunction. An error is stored and displayed in the speedometer, pointing to a fault in the lighting system. The car has 81693 km. Could this be a defective cable or plug connection?

Hey! Sounds frustrating. I had something similar with my old BMW 3 Series. The whole dash lit up, and the turn signal was acting wonky. It turned out to be a corroded connector. Did you check the connections yourself? Sometimes cleaning them up is all it takes.

Sure! On the BMW, it was near the tail light assembly, inside the trunk. But with modern cars, I wouldn't mess around too much. You could make things worse. I'd take it to a trusted workshop. They'll diagnose it properly. It could be something simple, but better safe than sorry. I paid a fortune because I tried fixing it myself!

I'm going to schedule an appointment with a certified Volvo service center. The estimated repair cost is 95€.
