Could you tell me where the connector was located on your BMW? Knowing where to look might save me some time.

Sure! On the BMW, it was near the tail light assembly, inside the trunk. But with modern cars, I wouldn't mess around too much. You could make things worse. I'd take it to a trusted workshop. They'll diagnose it properly. It could be something simple, but better safe than sorry. I paid a fortune because I tried fixing it myself!

I'm going to schedule an appointment with a certified Volvo service center. The estimated repair cost is 95€.

Hey! Sounds frustrating. I had something similar with my old BMW 3 Series. The whole dash lit up, and the turn signal was acting wonky. It turned out to be a corroded connector. Did you check the connections yourself? Sometimes cleaning them up is all it takes.
