Safrane blower not working

Having trouble with my 2000 Renault Safrane 2.2 dCi. The fresh air blower isn't working. The motor doesn't spin, and there's an error code. Has anyone experienced similar issues? I suspect the blower motor, but want to rule out other possibilities first.

I had a similar problem in my Renault Laguna. Is the AC also affected, or just the blower? Check the fan speed controller; it might be faulty.

Thanks! The AC seems fine, just no air is coming through the vents because the blower motor isn't running. Where is the fan speed controller located? Is it easy to access and test?

Okay, if the AC is working, it sounds like the blower motor or its controller. Honestly, based on my experience, I'd just get it checked at a workshop. Saved me headaches. Probably the motor is gone.
