Thanks for the quick reply! I appreciate the advice. Can you be more specific about which connectors you checked on the wiring harness? Were there specific pins or wires that had corrosion? I want to be as thorough as possible.

The main ECU connector itself was the one I focused on. Unplug it and look closely at the pins for any green or white stuff, which means corrosion. A magnifying glass helps. Also check the ground connections. I'm afraid the ECU might be defective. It is best to get it checked in a workshop.

I appreciate the detailed explanation and cautious advice. I followed your recommendations and checked the wiring harness and ground connections carefully, but I ended up going to the workshop anyway. Like you said, the main relay of the ECU was defective. The replacement was 120€ Thanks again for your guidance!

I have a Safrane too. Your symptoms sound a lot like something I fixed a while back. Reduced power and ECU errors definitely point in that direction. Before you replace the ECU, did you check the wiring harness and connections going to it? I had corrosion on a connector that caused intermittent signal loss, which triggered similar error codes. It's worth a look before spending the big bucks.
