Yeah, that hose connection was the issue for me. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. It’s not worth messing with it yourself if you aren't experienced with it, especially with the manifold pressure potentially being a factor.

I had a similar problem with my Sail. Check your vacuum hoses, especially the one running from the pump to the air valve. That connection is a common weak spot. Could be your manifold pressure too.
