Sail clutch pedal switch issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Chevrolet Sail is experiencing issues likely related to a faulty clutch pedal switch, including error codes, non-functional gear selection display, cruise control failure, and occasional engine start problems. The suspected causes are a malfunctioning clutch switch or faulty wiring connections. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired at a workshop to avoid further complications.

Thanks! Yes, those symptoms are exactly what I'm seeing. When you had this, did the error memory also show a fault with the clutch pedal switch? And did you fix it yourself, or did you take it in?

Yep, error code pointed straight to the clutch switch. Honestly, I poked around a bit, checked the wiring, but eventually just took it to a workshop. Turned out to be easier than messing with it myself and potentially making it worse. Saved me a headache!

Thanks for confirming that. I think I'll take it to a workshop for a look. The estimated cost is around 95€, which seems reasonable. Thanks again!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Sail. Gear display going nuts and cruise control dead? Was the engine light on too? I'm betting it's the clutch switch, or like you said, some dodgy wiring. Did you check the connection to the switch itself? Is it loose or corroded?
