Interesting. Was it also related to the glow plugs in your Peugeot? Any rough idle or engine combustion issues?

I never actually confirmed it was the glow plugs directly, but the symptoms were definitely there. It was causing rough starts and generally felt like a misfire. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. It's probably best to get a proper diagnosis.

Appreciate the input. Ended up being a defective glow plug, as suspected. Cost 440€ to repair.

I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot, although the symptoms weren't exactly the same. The check engine light kept coming on, and sometimes it felt like the engine was struggling, especially on cold starts. Could be a faulty sensor somewhere, or maybe even a fuel issue? I'm no expert, just throwing out ideas based on my own experience.
