SantaFe air suspension failure
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai SantaFe diesel is experiencing a complete air suspension failure, causing the vehicle to sit unevenly and triggering error messages on the speedometer. The issue was identified as a defective plug connection affecting the compressor's operation. The suggested solution was to check the cable connections, and the problem was resolved at a workshop for 95€.

It wasn't sitting for too long, maybe a day or two. I can't say I noticed any weird noises from the compressor before this. Were you able to solve the issue yourself?

I wasn't that lucky, unfortunately. My mechanic found that the electrical plug connection was faulty, causing the compressor not to run at all. Considering you have similar symptoms, it might be worth checking the cable connections. Though, honestly, with air suspension stuff, it's often a pain to diagnose without the proper tools. I would recommend going to the workshop.

Thanks for the insight! It was indeed a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted at the shop. Appreciate the help!

Sounds frustrating! Had a similar issue with my old Volvo XC90 – though it wasn't exactly the same. Was your SantaFe sitting for a while before this happened? Did you notice any unusual noises from the compressor beforehand, like struggling or running constantly?
