SantaFe air suspension failure

Hey, my 2011 Hyundai SantaFe diesel is giving me grief. The air suspension seems to have completely failed. The vehicle won't lift at all and sits noticeably leaning. I'm getting an error stored in the system, which also triggers an error message on the speedometer. Because of this, the low beams are all messed up, and there's a warning light constantly on the speedometer now. I've checked the basic fuses, but no luck. Any ideas?

Sounds frustrating! Had a similar issue with my old Volvo XC90 – though it wasn't exactly the same. Was your SantaFe sitting for a while before this happened? Did you notice any unusual noises from the compressor beforehand, like struggling or running constantly?

It wasn't sitting for too long, maybe a day or two. I can't say I noticed any weird noises from the compressor before this. Were you able to solve the issue yourself?

I wasn't that lucky, unfortunately. My mechanic found that the electrical plug connection was faulty, causing the compressor not to run at all. Considering you have similar symptoms, it might be worth checking the cable connections. Though, honestly, with air suspension stuff, it's often a pain to diagnose without the proper tools. I would recommend going to the workshop.
