SantaFe Gasoline Boost Pressure Fault

I'm having trouble with my 2019 Hyundai SantaFe gasoline, now at 169071 km. The check engine light is on and off, with less engine power, slow response, and more fuel use. Scans say it's a boost pressure control fault. Could a bad vacuum switching valve be the problem? I've checked the pressure sensor, but no luck.

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Hyundai SantaFe is experiencing reduced engine power, slow response, and increased fuel consumption, with a check engine light indicating a boost pressure control fault. The issue may be caused by a faulty vacuum switching valve, which was confirmed after checking the pressure sensor. Replacing the vacuum switching valve resolved the problem.

I had something similar with my SantaFe. Sounds like what I went through. Have you checked the boost solenoid and bypass valve for vacuum leaks? Sometimes it's a small crack that's hard to see but messes up the whole system.

Good point. Where exactly should I look on the boost solenoid and bypass valve for these vacuum leaks? I've looked, but maybe I need to focus more.

Yeah. Check the hoses to the valve closely. They get old and crack. Given the symptoms and code, I'd say take it to a shop. The pressure sensor could also cause it.

Thanks. It was a bad vacuum switching valve. Cost 140€. Thanks for the help.
