Where is the GPS module located, and how do I safely access it without causing electronic problems? I don't want to make things worse!

I'm not 100% sure on the SantaFe, but usually it's either behind the head unit in the dash or sometimes under the dash near the steering column. If you're not confident with car electrics, maybe get a professional to take a look. A broken GPS antenna definitely explains the 'no reception' thing!

The GPS antenna was the problem. After replacing it, the navigation system works again. Total cost, including diagnostics and antenna replacement, was about 200€.

That's a bummer! I had a similar issue once, though not on a SantaFe. Have you checked the connection to the GPS module itself? Maybe it's just a loose wire? It's a long shot, but worth a look before replacing parts!
