SantaFe rear ventilation flap error
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Hyundai SantaFe diesel is experiencing issues with the rear ventilation flap, causing the climate control to malfunction and the air conditioning to underperform. The problem is suspected to be due to a faulty cable or plug connection. A similar case was resolved by replacing a faulty flap actuator, which was confirmed as the issue and fixed for 95€.

Yep, exactly that! Rear vents are barely blowing anything out. What was the fix for yours?

Ah, okay, I'd bet it's the same thing then. Mine ended up being a faulty flap actuator. Best to get the system diagnostics checked. I’d take it to a workshop, I'm afraid.

Thanks. Booked it in, and you were spot on - flap actuator cable was the culprit. 95€ and all sorted. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I've got a SantaFe, and had similar climate control issues a while back. Was the air distribution also affected? In my case, the rear vents were barely pushing any air, even on max.
