Santro Brake Pedal Feedback
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Hyundai Santro owner experienced unusual feedback through the brake pedal at 177,509 km, suspecting an undervoltage issue affecting the hydraulic brakes. The problem was potentially linked to the disc brakes, brake shoes, or brake fluid pressure. Another Santro owner suggested that similar symptoms could be related to electrical usage, advising a professional diagnosis. Upon inspection, worn brake pads exacerbated by undervoltage were identified as the cause, and the issue was resolved at a workshop.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't done any detailed checks, but it does seem worse when other electrical stuff is being used a lot. Does that match what you saw?

Yeah, that's exactly what I experienced. Given that, and how it could affect the safety systems, I'd really recommend getting it checked out by a good workshop for a proper diagnosis.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop like you said. They found worn brake pads made worse by the undervoltage, just like we thought. Cost 240€ to fix. Thanks for your help.

I own a Santro too. I remember something similar happening to me a while back. Did you notice any odd electrical behavior along with the brake pedal feedback?
