A 2019 Hyundai Santro owner experienced a check engine light, reduced power, and a whistling noise, with a diagnostic scan revealing a charge air temperature sensor error. Thanks for the reply! When you say cable and plug, what exactly should I be looking for? Any specific signs of damage or a loose connection?

Yeah, I mean just give the wires and the plug a wiggle, see if anything is obviously broken or loose. But honestly, if you're not super comfortable with it, it might be best to just take it to a workshop. It could be other things too, but my issue ended up being that connection. Cost me 95€ to fix.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop and you were right - it was a defective connection to the charge air temperature sensor. They repaired the cable, cleared the error code, and the car is running perfectly again. The bill was 95€, just like you said. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I have a Santro too, and I had a similar problem a while back. Reduced power and a hissing sound... sounds familiar! Did you check the cable and plug connection to the sensor? That was the culprit for me.
