Santro cruise control issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Hyundai Santro's cruise control stopped functioning, with the dashboard light off and an error stored. Despite checking the fuses, the issue persists. Possible causes include a faulty pedal switch, a bad speed sensor, or a poor connection at the steering wheel. A workshop appointment is planned to address the problem, with a quoted repair cost of 95€.

Thanks, I'll check the pedal switch. The brake lights seem fine. Could a faulty speed sensor or a bad connection at the steering wheel also cause this?

It could be, but my bet is still on that pedal switch or a dodgy connection related to it. It's like a bad apple messing everything up. I spent ages fiddling around and eventually gave up and took it to a workshop. Saved me a load of hassle!

I appreciate the advice. Given the potential complexity, I'll schedule a workshop appointment. I got a quote for 95€, which seems reasonable for a defective cable or plug connection.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Santro. Check the pedal switch – sometimes those get wonky. Have you noticed if your brake lights are acting strange at all?
