Saxo Battery Sensor Issue

I did check the alternator, and it seems to be charging okay. The voltage regulator appears to be functioning normally. That's why I'm leaning towards the battery sensor being faulty. What were your symptoms, and what was the fix?

Okay, if the alternator is fine, then yeah, could be the sensor. Mine was doing all sorts of crazy stuff. The lights were dimming even after a long drive. Eventually, it just wouldn't start one morning. I ended up taking it to a garage, and they sorted it. Cost me a few quid though, I can't remember how much. Honestly, unless you're really confident, I'd say get a professional to look at it. Save yourself the headache.

I took your advice and brought it to a trusted workshop. Turns out, the battery sensor was indeed the problem, just as suspected. The total repair cost came to 315€, including the sensor replacement and labor. It's running smoothly again, and the flickering lights are gone! Thanks again for your help!

That sounds rough! I had something similar with my Saxo a while back. Weak battery, the whole shebang. Did you check the alternator?
