Saxo climate control fault

Could be the flap motor itself, or the wiring as you suspect. Have you checked the plug connections behind the climate control unit? Is the diagnostic error specific about which flap is faulty?

Right, rear vent flap... Connector's usually buried deep, not easily accessible. Could be chafed wires too. At this point, is it even worth messing around when it's likely a cheap repair?
