Saxo engine stalling at idle

Hey, I'm having trouble with my 2003 Citroen Saxo with a gasoline engine. It's got 186924 km on it. The check engine light came on, and it stalls sometimes when idling. Also, the engine power is down, especially when accelerating. I think it might be the fuel volume regulator. Could a bad high-pressure pump cause this?

I had a similar issue with my Saxo. Rough idling and the check engine light were the first signs. Have you checked the car sensors? Could be related.

If it keeps happening, take it to a good workshop for a full check. It could be the fuel regulator, and the high pressure pump might need replacing.

I took it to the workshop. It was the high-pressure pump, which caused the fuel volume regulator to fail, like I thought. Cost 1510€. Thanks for the help!
