So, you reckon it's just the battery? Did yours throw up the same errors and warning lights, and did the engine cut out completely?

Yeah, similar errors, same lights. It's a pain, I know. Honestly, just get the battery properly checked at a workshop. Could save you a lot of hassle.

Turns out you were right - battery was toast! New battery and a bill for 290€ later, the stop-start is working fine. Thanks!

I had something similar with my Saxo. The idle stop was super unreliable. Did you check your battery? That thing powers everything!
