Summary of the thread
A 2001 Citroen Saxo with an electric engine displayed an error related to the windshield washer heater, causing the spray nozzles to freeze in cold weather. The suspected cause was a bad connection. I've checked for clogs, but I get an error message in the system. Also, it happens even when they aren't completely frozen; just partially blocked. Is this what you experienced?

Ah, if you're getting an error code, and it's more than just ice, it does sound like the heater itself. My issue was only ever blockages. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked out properly.

Thanks, I appreciate the insight. I took it in, and it turned out to be a faulty connection as suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix. All good now.

I had something similar with my Saxo. Are you sure the nozzles themselves aren't just clogged? It's like when a water pipe freezes and bursts in winter, but on a much smaller scale.
