SC AC Compressor Failure

My 2007 Lexus SC, gasoline engine, AC compressor suddenly quit. Air conditioning doesn't switch on, doesn't cool, and there's an error code. Mileage is 220333 km. I've checked the fuses.

I had a similar problem with my SC. It acted just like a breaker tripping in your house – on one minute, off the next. Have you checked the pressure switch or the AC relay? It could be a refrigerant leak causing low pressure and triggering the switch.

Where is the AC relay located? And is the pressure switch easy to access?

The AC relay is usually in the relay box under the hood. As for the pressure switch, you can find it on one of the A/C lines. But honestly, with those symptoms and mileage, it's best to visit a workshop. An undervoltage issue might be the culprit.

Thanks. Took it to a shop, and you were right. It was undervoltage. Repair cost 240€.
