SC Overheating Issue

My 2010 Lexus SC with a gasoline engine is overheating at 82160 km. I think the electric fan is faulty, maybe a bad cable or plug.

I have an SC too and had similar overheating. Was it intermittent or constant? Did you check the fan clutch before looking at electrical?

It overheats constantly once it warms up. I haven't checked the fan clutch. I thought it was electrical based on what I saw. What happened with yours?

Mine was intermittent, then constant. Since you checked the electrics, a diagnostic system might be best. I had the fan replaced.

Thanks. It was a bad electrical connection to the fan. Fixed for 95€. Your experience helped confirm what to check.
