Scenic AC Not Cooling

Evening. My 2003 Renault Scenic diesel is giving me grief. The AC has packed it in completely. It doesn't cool, and the system doesn't seem to be switching on when I press the button. I've checked the basic stuff like fuses, but no luck. I was reading online it could be the pressure switch or maybe the AC relay? Any thoughts before I start ripping the dashboard apart?

I had a similar issue on my Scenic. Check the individual valves; that was the problem for me.

Interesting. Which valves exactly? And how did you diagnose that? Did you need any special tools?

I am afraid I cannot give you more details as I simply brought the car to a workshop. They confirmed that it was the individual valves that were defect and replaced them.

Thanks for the advice. I suspected it was something along those lines. Looks like a trip to the workshop is in order. I am expecting a 1000€ bill.
