Scenic AdBlue Error No Start

I'm having an issue with my 2016 Renault Scenic diesel. The speedometer shows an empty AdBlue tank error, and diagnostic scans confirm this. Now the engine won't start. I suspect a problem with the AdBlue output to the dosing unit. Has anyone else had this with their Scenic? I'm concerned about DEF fluid levels, emission standards, the SCR catalyst, and diesel exhaust.

Hey, I had something similar happen in my Scenic. Kept getting the service light and error codes about emissions. Does it sound like the same thing?

Could you elaborate on the specific error messages you encountered and whether they also prevented the engine from starting? Any details regarding the resolution would be helpful.

Yeah, it sounds identical. It eventually stopped starting. My mechanic reckons the AdBlue pump failed. To be honest, get it to a workshop. Messing with the SCR catalyst isn't worth the risk.

I appreciate your confirmation. Based on your experience and the potential complexities, I've decided to consult a qualified mechanic. It appears a faulty AdBlue pump is the most likely culprit, with a repair cost of around 250€. Thanks again for your assistance.
