Scenic Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Error

The error pops up intermittently, sometimes during normal driving, sometimes when braking. I did have the brakes bled recently at my local garage. Could an incorrect bleeding procedure affect the brake booster pressure sensor? Is replacement the only solution?

An improper bleeding procedure can absolutely wreak havoc. The pressure sensor is delicate. If air got trapped, it could have damaged it. Test the sensor and vacuum lines, but given the symptoms and recent brake work, take it to a trustworthy workshop for a professional check. Driving with poor braking is dangerous.

I took the Scenic to a proper workshop. The brake system bleeding was the culprit, leading to the sensor's failure. Replacing the brake booster pressure sensor cost 90€. The brakes are now fully functional, the error message is gone, and I have restored brake performance. Thanks for your help!

Sounds familiar. I drive a Scenic. Does the error appear consistently, or only under certain braking conditions? Did the issue arise after brake work, like a pad replacement or brake bleed? Details help narrow it down.
