Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've checked the sensors and switch. All appear to be functioning correctly. The error code specifically points to the motor itself, but I'm always open to a second opinion. Could a low battery voltage interfere with the calliper motor?

I appreciate your diligence in checking the sensors and switch. While a low battery voltage can, in some circumstances, cause unusual electrical behaviour, it is unlikely to be the primary cause of a specific motor failure error. Given the symptoms and error code, I must concur with your initial assessment. I recommend seeking professional assistance to replace the defective motor. A workshop will have the appropriate tools and expertise to ensure a secure solution.

Cheers. That's the way I was leaning. I booked it into the workshop, and they confirmed the calliper motor is shot. Repair is going to be around 505€. Appreciate the input.

Good day. I'm sorry to hear about the electronic parking brake issues on your Renault Scenic. Have you checked the brake sensor and switch? These can sometimes cause similar symptoms, and it would be prudent to rule them out before assuming the electric motor in the calliper is at fault. Vehicle safety is very important.
