Scudo Door Lock Fault

Experiencing an odd issue with my 2022 Fiat Scudo electric (21784 km). One of the doors can no longer be locked or unlocked. Diagnostics point to a faulty door contact signal. Thinking it's a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else run into something similar?

I had a similar problem with my Scudo. Sounds identical. I'd check the door switch itself. It's a common culprit.

When you say 'door switch', are you referring to the car sensor that detects whether the door is open or closed, or another component within the vehicle doors?

Yes, I'm referring to the car sensor detecting the door state. Given the electrical issue and the contact signal problem, I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the confirmation. Took it to the shop as suggested, and you were spot on. It was indeed a faulty contact. Repair came out to 95€.
