Scudo engine stall and power loss

My 2013 Fiat Scudo with a gasoline engine has a check engine light that comes on and off, engine stalls sometimes when idling, and seems to have less power. It has 154061 km on it. I think the fuel volume regulator is bad. Could the high pressure pump be the problem?

I also have a Scudo and had similar problems recently: engine misfire, check engine light, and sometimes stalling. Did you check the car sensors, especially the fuel injection system? That might help before you assume it's the high pressure pump.

I checked the fuel rail pressure sensor and the oxygen sensor. The readings weren't consistent. I ended up taking it to a shop, and the mechanic said the high pressure pump was bad. I would suggest doing the same to save time.

Thanks, that confirms what I thought. The shop said it's a bad high pressure pump and fuel volume regulator. It will cost 1510€ to fix. Thanks again for your help.
