Scudo engine stall and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Fiat Scudo is experiencing engine stalling, power loss, and an intermittent check engine light. The initial suspicion is a faulty fuel volume regulator, but there is also concern about the high pressure pump. Another owner with similar issues suggests checking the fuel rail pressure sensor and oxygen sensor, which led to the discovery of a bad high pressure pump. Ultimately, both the high pressure pump and fuel volume regulator are identified as the problems, requiring replacement.

Thanks. Which specific sensors did you check, and did you see anything strange when you checked them?

I checked the fuel rail pressure sensor and the oxygen sensor. The readings weren't consistent. I ended up taking it to a shop, and the mechanic said the high pressure pump was bad. I would suggest doing the same to save time.

Thanks, that confirms what I thought. The shop said it's a bad high pressure pump and fuel volume regulator. It will cost 1510€ to fix. Thanks again for your help.

I also have a Scudo and had similar problems recently: engine misfire, check engine light, and sometimes stalling. Did you check the car sensors, especially the fuel injection system? That might help before you assume it's the high pressure pump.
