Yeah, definitely the dimming lights, and the engine felt like it was struggling, especially at lower speeds. I didn't check any error codes myself, I just took it straight to the workshop. The mechanic confirmed it was a faulty generator. Cost me a pretty penny to get it sorted, but it solved the problem. Maybe it's worth getting yours checked out?

The workshop confirmed that the generator is indeed defective. The estimated repair cost is approximately 960€. Thanks for your assistance.

Oh, that sounds rough. I've got a Scudo too, though I can't remember what year it is. I had something similar happen a while back – the lights were dimming and the engine just didn't seem to have the same oomph. Was it the alternator in my case? What did the garage say?
