Thanks for the tip! When you say wiring and plug, was it obviously damaged, or did you need to test it with a multimeter? Was there anything specific I should look for?

No worries! In my case, the plug was the culprit. The pins looked ok at first glance, but after a wiggle, it was clear there was a loose connection. Think of it like a dripping tap – sometimes you can't see the drip until you really look! I ended up taking it to a workshop, as the error memory also stored the 'Cable or plug connection of the component defective' error, so they knew what to look for. They replaced the plug and it's been fine ever since.

Appreciate the help! I'll have a proper look at the plug and wiring. If I can't sort it myself, I'll take it to a local garage. The bill should be around 95€, so that's not too bad. Cheers!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with the massage seat in my Scudo – it just packed up. I'd check the wiring and the plug under the seat first. Seems like a common weak point. Like a dodgy Christmas tree light, one faulty bulb can kill the whole string!
