Scudo NOx Sensor Error

My 2010 Fiat Scudo (gasoline engine) has the check engine light on, and the error memory points to the NOx sensor. I also noticed a slight exhaust leak. I've checked the sensor's cable and plug, and they seem okay, but I suspect a defective connection there. Anyone else run into this?

I had a similar issue with my Fiat Scudo. Check engine light, the whole shebang. I'd double-check the wiring harness leading to the NOx sensor itself. Those wires can get brittle and crack over time, especially near the exhaust. Have you had a look at the catalytic converter? Sometimes a failing cat can cause NOx sensor errors too.

In my case, it was just the light and the error code. The engine seemed to be running fine, which was confusing. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the sensor, replaced it, and the problem went away. Seems like the best plan for you too.

It seems like I will visit the workshop next week. Today I had to order a new emission sensor online for 95€. I hope I can pick it up soon and that it fixes the problem.
