Seat Alhambra Auxiliary Heater Problem
Summary of the thread
The auxiliary heater in a 2020 Seat Alhambra was malfunctioning, with the parking heater unable to activate and an error stored in the memory. A defective glow plug was identified as the most probable cause. After confirmation by a workshop, the glow plug was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thank you for the information. I did not notice coolant loss; I will check it again. Regarding the heat control issue, could you elaborate? Did you experience problems with the ventilation system or climate control?

Yes, I had strange behavior from the climate control. The blower motor seemed to operate erratically at times. I suspect the issues were somehow related, even though I cannot confirm it. If the glow plug is the culprit, it is probably best to have it checked and replaced by a workshop.

Appreciate your input. The workshop confirmed a defective glow plug indeed. Repair cost came to approximately 440€. Everything is working as expected now.

Well, I also own an Alhambra, though I'm not certain about the model year. I had similar symptoms last winter – the parking heater just refused to start, and the system kept throwing errors. Have you noticed any unusual coolant leak? It's probably a long shot, but I also had issues with the heat control not working efficiently. I do not know whether it is connected, but it is worth mentioning.
