Seat Alhambra Diesel Blower Issue

I'm having some trouble with my 2003 Seat Alhambra diesel. The fresh air blower isn't working. The blower motor is completely dead. I scanned the error memory and there's an error stored related to the blower motor. I suspect the motor itself is defective, but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar before I go ahead and replace it.

Sounds like a pain. Have you checked the electrical wiring leading to the blower motor? Could be a loose connection or a blown fuse. It's like checking if the power cord is plugged into the wall before blaming the appliance itself.

Good point about the wiring. Where should I be looking for the fuse and the relevant wiring for the blower motor? Are there specific areas that are known to cause issues in the Alhambra?

If there is an error code pointing to the blower motor and the motor isn't spinning, it probably is the motor. Checking the wiring is always good, but if the error is specific, I'd say it is time to visit a workshop.

Thanks for the input. It turns out the blower motor was defective. Replacing it, including labor, cost 365€. At least the air flow is back to normal now.
