Seat Alhambra Reduced Engine Power

Reduced power and a stored error sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Alhambra. Have you used a car diagnostic tool to read the diagnostic code? Could be anything, really.

Yeah, I used an auto scanner and got a code pointing to engine management. You said you had a similar issue? Was the diagnostic code the same? What was the fix?

My diagnostic code was similar, pointed to a problem with the engine management. It turned out some previous owner had the car chipped. The shop had to reflash the car computer. If you're seeing engine management codes on your scan tool, that's what I'd suspect. Probably best to take it to a workshop.

Took it to the workshop. They remapped the car computer to the original settings. Seems a previous owner went for some chip tuning. Cost me 180€. Runs fine now, thanks for the input.
