Seat Alhambra system readiness issue

I'm officially stressed. My 2010 Seat Alhambra with a gasoline engine is throwing a fit. The speedometer keeps flashing an error message about system readiness being incomplete. Mileage is at 164602 km. There's an error stored in the error memory, but here's the kicker: this all started right after I had someone read out the car's data via OBD2 diagnostics. Could that have caused this? Is my exhaust system failing already? I'm worried about the vehicle inspection!
