Seat Alhambra system readiness issue

Yeah, the car seems to drive perfectly fine! No weird noises, no loss of power, nothing. So, you think it's just that the OBD thing messed up the system readiness check? Is that something serious, or can I just ignore it? Because the vehicle inspection is looming...

Okay, so I'm no expert, but from what I remember, the OBD scan can sometimes reset the system readiness monitors. These monitors are basically checks the car does on its systems like the exhaust system to make sure they are working properly. If they haven't all completed since the reset, the check engine light or error message will stay on. It might just need some driving to reset itself, but honestly, I'd suggest going to a workshop just to be sure, especially with the vehicle inspection coming up.

Took the Alhambra to the garage, and they confirmed it was just the OBD readiness reset after the diagnostic. They cleared the error, and now the system readiness is complete. No cost involved! Thanks again for the insight – really appreciate it!

Hey, I have a Seat Alhambra too! I had something similar happen after a friend used an OBD reader to check for a check engine light. I think it's related to the system readiness not being properly set after the OBD thing. Does the car drive okay otherwise?
