Seat Alhambra Terminal 15 Ignition Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Seat Alhambra is experiencing a 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error, preventing the engine from starting. The issue is suspected to be related to a power supply problem or a circuit break, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. Initial checks of the fuse box and battery terminals showed no issues. The problem was ultimately traced to a faulty cable in the ignition circuit, which was resolved at a workshop.

Fuse box looks fine, no blown fuses that I can see. Battery terminals are clean and tight. You mentioned a similar problem, was it also a complete no-start situation?

Yeah, complete no-start. Turned out to be a chafed wire in the ignition switch circuit. If the fuses and battery are good, it's likely a wiring issue. Best bet is to get it to a workshop with decent diagnostics.

Alright, thanks for the input. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Faulty cable in the ignition circuit. 95€ and it's running again.

Terminal 15 issue can be tricky. I had a similar problem with my Seat Leon. Check the fuse box first for any blown fuses. Also, inspect the battery terminal connections for corrosion or looseness. Have you checked those?
