Gear oil level is fine, and I don't see any oil leakage. What was the exact issue with your Leon?

Mine was defective gears inside the transfer case, causing gear grinding. Since you don't see any oil leakage, it's probably internal gear wear. I suggest a workshop check.

I had a similar problem with my Seat Leon. Is the gear oil level correct? Are there any signs of oil leakage around the transfer case? Check the oil change interval too. My car had similar symptoms.
