Seat Altea engine light and stalling issue

My 2010 Seat Altea with a gasoline engine has a check engine light and stalls at idle. The error memory shows incorrect fuel composition. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Any ideas?

Sounds like what happened with my Altea. Check the fuel composition sensor, could be a bad connection. Does the engine knock?

Fuel composition sensor location? And yes, there's a slight engine knock sometimes, especially when it stalls.

That's what I had. The location varies, but it's inline with the fuel line. I'd take it to a workshop. Saved me a lot of trouble.

It was a faulty connector on the fuel composition sensor. 95€ fixed it. Thanks for the tip!
