Seat Altea MOST Bus Issue

I have a 2013 Seat Altea with a gasoline engine, mileage is at 67214 km. I am experiencing a MOST bus fault. The audio system is completely dead, navigation is not working, and there's an error code stored in the memory. I suspect a defect in one of the control units on the bus network. Has anyone encountered something similar?

MOST bus fault, eh? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Altea. No sound, nav dead, the whole shebang. Was a pain to diagnose. You checked all the basics like fuses?

Yeah, I checked the fuses. Where you able to fix the car yourself? Or did you bring it to a workshop? Was it a specific module that was broken?

I didn't have the equipment to properly diagnose the fiber optics and modules on the MOST bus, so I had to take it to a workshop. They used car diagnostics to pinpoint the issue. I think it's best if you visit a workshop as well.

Thanks for the insight. I took it to a workshop, and as suspected, there was a faulty control unit on the MOST bus. The car electronics needed some attention. It cost around 1000€ to fix. Everything is working again.
