Seat Arona electrical issues and navigation failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Seat Arona owner experienced electrical issues and a non-functional navigation system, suspecting the vehicle might be stuck in 'transport mode'. Despite attempts to resolve the issue by checking fuses and disconnecting the battery, the problem persisted. It was suggested that a diagnostic check by a dealer or mechanic could identify and disable the 'transport mode'. Following this advice, the dealership confirmed the vehicle was indeed in transport mode and resolved the issue without any cost.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Delivery mode? I've never heard of that before. Where exactly did you find the vehicle settings to disable it? I've been through all the menus on the infotainment system and haven't seen anything obvious.

Yeah, 'transport mode' or 'delivery mode', same difference. I couldn't disable it myself on the Volvo. You'll likely need a diagnostic check by the dealer or a mechanic with the right tools. They can access the ECU and switch it off. It's a software thing, not something you can usually fix with a key fob or the usual vehicle setting menus.

Took it to the dealership as suggested. They ran a diagnostic check and apparently it was still in transport mode from the factory! They disabled it, and everything is working fine now. No cost involved thankfully. Thanks again for the heads up!

Whoa, that's weird. I had something similar happen with my Volvo a few years back. Navigation was dead, some electrical systems acting funky. Turned out it was stuck in some kind of 'delivery mode' too. Did you check the vehicle settings? Maybe there's a way to disable it there?
