Thank you for your reply. I appreciate you sharing your experience with a similar issue. Regarding your suggestion to inspect the spark plugs, is there a specific aspect I should be focusing on during the inspection? Are there any signs of damage that are particularly indicative of a problem?

In my case, the spark plug showed visible signs of wear and tear, including cracks in the ceramic insulator. The electrode was also significantly eroded. Given your description, it is prudent to have the vehicle diagnostics performed by a qualified technician. While inspecting the spark plugs yourself is feasible, accurate vehicle diagnostics can pinpoint the root cause more efficiently. Replacement of the ignition coil may indeed be necessary.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Based on your recommendation, I took the vehicle to a trusted mechanic. Vehicle diagnostics indicated a defective ignition coil, likely due to a faulty cable connection. The ignition coil was replaced and the spark plug checked, resolving the rough running and stalling issues. The repair cost was 95€. I appreciate the assistance.

I had similar symptoms with my 2018 Opel Astra, gasoline engine. Engine hesitation was quite noticeable, especially during acceleration. The check engine light also illuminated intermittently. Have you inspected the spark plugs? In my case, the issue stemmed from a faulty spark plug, which consequently damaged the ignition coil. It might be worth checking the spark plugs before replacing the ignition coil.
