Seat Arona Engine Troubles

Okay, I'm officially losing it. My 2020 Seat Arona (gasoline engine) is acting up big time. Check engine light is on, the engine stalls at idle sometimes, and I've noticed reduced engine power. I'm thinking it might be the fuel pressure regulator. Could this be related to the fuel system? Any ideas before I lose my mind?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Arona. Check engine light, rough idle, and a noticeable drop in fuel efficiency. Suspect a pressure drop in the fuel rail. Was the fuel filter replacement recent?

Yeah, I did the fuel filter myself like a week ago. Could a simple fuel filter change really cause all this? I was pretty careful, or so I thought. What exactly went wrong with yours?

Yeah, mine was almost the same. Apparently, some error code got stuck in the system when the fuel filter was changed. The ECU was getting wrong readings and messing with the fuel pressure. It caused a rough idle and affected my fuel efficiency. Honestly, I'd get it checked at a workshop to be sure. They can read the error codes and see if it's the same thing.

Dude, thanks a ton for your help! Took it to the workshop, and you nailed it. Turns out, when I swapped the fuel filter, there was an error logged that messed with the fuel pressure regulator. They cleared the error, and now it runs like a champ. Cost me 45€ to clear the error. Seriously appreciate the help!
