Seat Arona Key Battery Low Warning

Is anyone else getting this? My 2020 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine, with 125151 km, keeps showing a 'Key battery low' warning. Now the keyless access doesn't work, and there's some error stored. Unlocking and locking are a pain. Seems like the battery in the electronic key is dead, right? I am thinking of just getting the fob battery replaced.

I had a similar issue with my Arona. Keyless entry stopped working, and I was getting errors. Have you tried using your spare key to see if the problem persists?

Good point. I only have the one electronic key. Did replacing the fob battery fix it for you?

Yes, changing the battery in the car key solved the problem for me. If you're unsure, it might be worth getting it checked at a workshop. They can confirm if it's just the battery or something else with the key fob.

It was the fob battery. Replacement cost me 37€. Thanks for the help.
