Thanks for the quick reply! So, your Arona also had a communication fault? Was it also related to a control module? Do you remember which control module was affected? And did you also have a diagnostic trouble code?

Yes, mine was a control module issue too. Unfortunately, I can't remember the specific module, but the diagnostic trouble code clearly pointed to a communication fault. I'd strongly suggest getting it checked professionally. Continuing to drive with it could cause more damage.

It was indeed a faulty connection, as suspected. The workshop identified a loose plug on the control module. They cleaned the contacts and secured the connection. Total cost was 95€. Thanks for your help!

Overheating and coolant spills sound serious! I had a similar communication fault with my Arona, though without the overheating. It threw a check engine light and the diagnostics pointed to a connectivity issue. Did you check the basics like battery voltage and error codes?
