Seat Arosa air suspension malfunction

My 2001 Seat Arosa with a diesel engine is sitting all wonky. The air suspension is shot, I think. It won't lift at all, and it's leaning to one side like a Pisa tower. The speedometer is showing an error, and the headlights are all messed up because of the lean. VCDS says it's a compressor failure. Could it really be just a dodgy wire or plug on the load leveling suspension pump causing all this?

Arosa, huh? I had a similar issue on my Seat Ibiza. Is the compressor completely dead, or is it just struggling? Did you check the fuses and relays before diving into the wiring?

Completely dead. Fuses are good. Relays seem fine, swapped them around with others. When you say similar issue, was it exactly compressor failure? And what part of the wiring was dodgy?

Yep, compressor failure due to a corroded connector. Honestly, though, if you're not super confident with electrics, get it to a workshop. Better safe than sorry with airbags and air struts. They'll diagnose properly.

Dude, you were spot on! It was the cable to the suspension pump. 95€ later, and she's riding level again. Thanks for the help!
