Yes, the error memory was read out recently using OBD2. What does 'a bit of driving' entail? Is there a specific drive cycle I need to perform to complete the system readiness?

A 'drive cycle' is basically a specific pattern of driving that helps the car run all its tests. It varies between manufacturers, but usually involves a mix of city and highway driving, some acceleration and deceleration, and maintaining certain speeds for a period. If you're unsure about the exact drive cycle for your Arosa, a workshop is probably best.

I solved the problem. After research, I did a specific drive cycle. The system readiness is now complete, and the error is gone. Apparently, the car diagnostics reset the system readiness, and it just needed a reset through driving. Luckily, the vehicle inspection is now possible. No costs.

System readiness incomplete? Sounds like the car's computer hasn't finished all its self-checks since the OBD2 diagnostics. Did you clear any codes recently? Sometimes it takes driving for all the monitors to become ready.
