Seat Arosa Headlight Cleaning Problem
Summary of the thread
A Seat Arosa from 2002 is experiencing issues with its headlight cleaning system, suspected to be due to a defective cable connection or relay for the pump. The problem also affects the windshield washer system, indicating a likely electrical fault with the pump or its connection. It is suggested to check the fuse box, but due to the complexity and potential danger of electrical work, professional assistance is recommended. The issue was confirmed to be the pump connection and was resolved by a mechanic.

Yes, the windshield washer system isn't working either. Where exactly is the fuse box located? And is it easy to check myself?

If the windshield washer system is also affected, then it's most likely a pump or its electrical connection. Checking the fuse box is easy, the manual should show its location. But tampering with electrics without expertise is dangerous. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the help. I took it to a mechanic and they confirmed it was the pump connection. Repair cost me 165€.

Sounds like a potential electrical fault. Does the windshield washer system also fail to work? Have you checked the fuse box?
