Seat Arosa Heating Problem

Interesting. Where is that resistor pack located? And how would that affect the defrost flap? I thought that was controlled by a separate motor.

The resistor pack is usually near the blower motor, often behind the glove box or in the footwell. As for the defrost flap, the HVAC unit is complex; a blower motor circuit problem could cause a voltage drop affecting the flap motor. However, given the error code, the flap motor's wiring or the motor itself is probably faulty. I'd advise a shop to diagnose it properly. They can test the flap motor directly.

I got it fixed. The shop confirmed it was the flap motor connection, as suspected. They cleaned the contacts, cleared the error, and it's all working. Cost 95€, which seems reasonable. Thanks again for the help!

Low heating and that fault code point to a climate control issue. I had something similar with my Arosa's HVAC unit, though I don't remember the exact code. Have you checked the blower motor resistor pack? A faulty resistor can cause temperature regulation problems, possibly affecting the defrost air distribution.
