Seat Arosa parking aid fault

My Seat Arosa from with a gasoline engine is throwing a parking aid fault. The parking assistant is completely dead and the error memory has a code stored. I'm guessing it's a defective cable or plug connection somewhere. Anyone else seen this?

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Arosa's parking sensors. The rearview camera went haywire too. Turns out, water ingress into the blind spot sensors' wiring harness can cause all sorts of problems. Have you checked the connections to the parking sensors? They're usually behind the bumper. 'Water ingress' just means water getting where it shouldn't, by the way!

Water ingress, eh? Where exactly should I be looking for this 'wiring harness' you speak of?

Yeah, the wiring harness is basically a bunch of wires bundled together. On my Arosa (not sure if it's the exact same on a model but likely), it was near the rear parking sensors. If you are not comfortable poking around with electrics, maybe get a mechanic to check it? It's probably a pain to get to. I ended up taking mine to the shop.

Yep, turned out to be faulty wiring on one of the parking sensors. 95€ and it's sorted. Thanks for the heads-up!
